Please click on which type of record you are searching for:

  1.  Basic case information can be found by using the court’s Case Information Access Portal.
  2.  Case information that is not available on the portal can be requested by mail or in person using one of the following forms: 

Civil, Family, and Probate Records Request Form   or      

Criminal Records Request Form

Record Search Details:
  • Provide one name per search request (e.g., each alias or a.k.a. should have its own form)
  • Searches will be limited to a maximum of 10 names or 10 case records per day 
  • A Visa or Mastercard and expiration date is required on each form 
  • Court staff will perform record searches based on the information provided on each form
  • Only authorized individuals can request calendar or case information by telephone 
Fees:
  • Most searches takes less than 10 minutes. Those that take more than 10 minutes are $15. Per search (GC 70627(c) GC 70661)
  • Printed or copied documents are $.50 per page (GC 70627(a))
  • Certified copies are $40.00 (GC 70626(a)(4))

Record Search Details
  • Requests for  judicial administrative records per California Rules of Court 10.500 must be submitted using the Administrative Records Request Form
  • Individuals with disabilities may make requests in an alternative format 
  • Completed Administrative Records Request forms  may be submitted by fax 707-299-1250, U.S. Mail (address below), or e-mail (case record search requests are not accepted by email, please follow the case record search procedures above) 
  • Records may be subject to payment of a fee
  • Information on how to request a judicial administrative record maintained by the California Court of Appeals or Judicial Council can be found on the Judicial Council website.
