Bienvenido a la Corte Superior de Napa:

Equal Access

The Court has adopted a Court Facility Equal Access Policy pursuant to Government Code §7284.8(a) requiring the California Attorney General to “publish model policies limiting assistance with immigration enforcement to the fullest extent possible consistent with federal and state law” for courthouses to ensure “that they remain safe and accessible to all California residents regardless of immigration status” by October 1, 2018. The model policies, Securing Equal Access to Justice for All: Guidance and Model Policies to Assist California’s Superior Courts in Responding to Immigration Issues, were published in October 2018. The Court subsequently adopted the provisions required by the Attorney General’s model policies. The policy can be located here.

Additional guidance for equal access to the California state courts may be obtained from the California Courts website here: https://www.courts.ca.gov/immigration.htm
