Proof of Correction

Driver’s license, vehicle registration, and mechanical violations will be dismissed by the court if proof of correction and the transaction fee are presented to the court by mail or in person by the pay or appear date.

Proof of correction for equipment violations can be obtained by having a law enforcement officer sign off your copy of the citation.

Proof of insurance cannot be signed off by a law enforcement officer and must be presented to the Court.

Driver’s license and registration violations may be certified at an office of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

NOTE:  Clerk assistance may still be required on cases that involve a proof of correction, non-Califonria driver's license, insurance violations, or failure to comply with due dates.
